thread + frames + award = OH MY!

i am so excited to share with you another bike embroidery that i finished over the weekend. i am really happy with the way this one turned out. i used a different linen and it really made a difference! i can add a bit more detail which is really nice without it getting lost in the background. i am really happy with the result!
i added the bike to my shop yay! so if there are any takers it is up for grabs! i will be adding a custom one too but that will come a little later!

i also completed this taurus embroidery too and added it to the really awesome vintage frame i had been waiting to put something in. i have also added this to my shop too :)

  1. Ooooh I love the embroidery, especially the bull. The juxtaposition between soft thread and rough animal works really well. (Sorry, sometime my art head just won't switch off!)
And thank you for the award!I'll be sure to pass it on soon! =]

  7. Hey there! It was nice to get your comment, and nice to know that I'm not the only one trying to make time for everything, including art! Stupid student loans..I will be in debt forever. But if I get serious about making a website and maybe an Etsy shop, I could pay off my debt a lot faster!

Thanks for your comment! Hope you are well!

@kt_kthx: your very welcome on the comment! we all need to support each other times and glad i can glad :D i know i have a very huge loan to pay off too! one i am a little embarrassed to even talk of and i only got out loans just to pay tuition! by any extra amount you can pay on your loans really goes a long way! oh well it was all worth it in the end. i wouldn't be the person i am today if i didn't go and i am thankful for that!

  16. Thank you darling! I'll post back to you shortly. totally love your new embroidery pictures. Does Rosalita give you trouble when you're using the embroidery floss? I tried starting a friendship bracelet the other day and my cat went nuts jumping all over my thread!

  17. hey chrystie: not so much but she does get extremely interested and she hasn't understood when to use and not use her claws, so i just stop what i am doing and move her next to me and she becomes disinterested :) she is a good little kitty!
