happy wednesday everyone!! thank goodness it is wednesday which means two more days till the weekend and my little niece's birthday bash! she is turning 2 on friday!!! she is growing up so fast and she gets cuter every time i see her! and i especially can't wait to give her the cape we bought her!!! she is going to look FANTASTIC in it!! will share pictures of her party next week!
well anywho...today's bike chick outfit is a favorite. this was the film from when i lost the minolta hi-matic on bart....
i have become a bit obsessed with the mustard yellow color lately and the sweater i am wearing is one of my favorites! i love the collar on it and that it is super warm and soft! it is over a dress that i bought in la when me, my cousin and sister in law went shopping for bridesmaids dresses.
i am on my way to work in this picture and it was oh so cold that morning so it was important to have tights on that day as well as my wool coat and gloves, which by the way i got new fingerless gloves with mitten pull overs from target thanks to jesse! thanks sweetie, i am loving them!!
i am almost ready for riding in the rain...just need some rain boots which i have been waiting for the right pair but i think i am just going to get black as they go with everything. any suggestions?
xo,

i love love love mustard yellow, and think your outfit is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteif you're gonna go black boots, at least go polka dots! :P i want some wellie style booots too, and am completely overwhelmed by the variety of colors/patterns available now...
You look so cute with your bike! I've been wearing alot of mustard yellow lately too. Happy birthday to your niece for the weekend, have a lovely time! :)

i love yellow, my whole closet is filled with mustard yellow items. it's such a happy color! i say if you like color then go for red, green, or yellow rain boots, keeps you visible on the road and looking cute. i'm actually on the hunt for some too so if i see any i will text you! can't wait to see your rain gear with mary *ding ding*
ReplyDeleteFirst off, this outfit is adorable.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to buy a new pair of rain boots, I would get something fun!! They are rain boots, and no one ever has any fun in black. How about yellow, or polka dots perhaps?

You have the cutest style ever, I can't even handle it. haha
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the mustard yellow flats and lacy tights combination. You look so cozy! (and make me want a bike)
xoxo
your tights make this outfit extra adorable. i love mustard yello too! sooo much. and...your bike is pretty awesome :)
ReplyDeleteyour yellow outfit is too cute. Very cheery. I dont own any rain boots so I dont have suggestions for you but I hope you get a kick a** pair
ReplyDeleteYou pull off that outfit very well. Where do you shop?? I need to find myself some cute tights and skirts.
ReplyDeleteP.s. Thanks for the blog comment today. I thought originally the tape dispenser was wooden but it turns out it was cast iron. Neat, eh?
I have really loud Pucci wellies that my friend got me a couple of years back. They are very bright and strongly patterned so hard to match many outfits. It doesn't stop me from wearing them at every opportunity though and they make great festival boots (only you have to keep them inside your tent in case they get nicked!). If I was to buy a new pair I'd probably spring for a practical black or dark blue pair of Hunters :)
ReplyDeleteYou are incrrredibly bike chic girl. Adorable.
