last friday was another bike riding event but this time it was in the east bay! the theme...mustaches! well the mister had that covered but he did trim it a bit for the ride :D so the nite before i made a mustache and was very pleased with it!
i thought this would be a good opportunity to not only show off my mustache but also show off what i wore!
a vintage find that i recently just hemmed and paired with red tights and my all time favorite velvet blazer that is also a vintage find! these shoes are not the best to be wearing on a cold night...my poor feet were frozen! next time i will for sure bring socks or just wear better shoes for that matter!
the mister and i met up early. he brought burritos and we ate them my lake merritt! the sun was setting and there were gondolas floating in the lake...a very romantic scenery and gilbert looked so beautiful with the lake behind him!
we also met up with tina from city girl rides and her guy! i love that we are able to meet up and ride together! everytime we meet i am reminded how happy i am that i started my blog!

the ride started off at 8 and we went all over the lake merritt area and up into the oakland hills. man the houses out there are beautiful! we stopped for a bit at a park while people danced. then hopped back on our bikes and rode to the parkway lounge in oakland for a nice cold beer! fat tire was sponsoring the event so i had to have their 1554, so so yummy!
i can't wait for next months bike ride!
