the mister and i went to the chieftain before we headed out to the sf bike party. i had a pint of my favorite beer and had the guinness stew and the mister had the shepherds pie..they really make the best pub food ever!
we headed out to the civic center where we waited for directions and a BUNCH of riders. there were many different people there with some really awesome bikes as well as plenty of bikes that had stereos hooked up to them which really made the ride super fun!

what made it even more exciting was that i met up with tina from city girl rides and a couple of her friends. i knew she was going to be there but wasn't sure if we were going to meet up cause there were so many people.
we rode up to japan town and stopped at a park in presido heights for the first party and then rolled on to the second party which ended at dolorse park where a cute little band called odd owl played. they were so cute that i had to buy their cd...oh and i just couldn't leave the park without testing out the swing....can you find me??
the last leg brought us to garfield park in the outer mission which resulted in a dance party! so much fun!!
every first friday bike party puts on this event and we shall be attending as many as we can! next friday the east bay is hosting one which is themed....a mustache ride! i will have to make a special prop for that ride!
some other exciting news: i am featured on velo vogue today! i did a little post for kristin about riding the tandem!
hope you all had an amazing weekend!
