the last day of a new begining

well folks today is my first day at the new job! i am a bit nervous when i think about it but i know i will be fine!
so this last friday was my last day and to celebrate we went out for drinks, had the most AMAZING lamb burger and then rolled out to the sf bike parties rites of spring themed ride!

the mister looking sooooo adorable...as always :)
we met in front of the sf ferry building and everyone had flowers in their hair or on their bikes. the ferry building is a must see if you ever come out to sf. there is great food made from local food artisans..not to mention the fungi shop that is my most favorite! they sell a dynomite truffle oil and that i can never pass up!
"the hungry i" and a shot of some mans butt! hehe
this was by far the best ride. we went through north beach which is the "italian" section of sf where we rode down the famous broadway street that is lined with strip bars.

then went through fishermans wharf and toward ghiradelli square and for a bit where riding on the coast which was so beautiful and romantic!

the 2nd stop was at the palace of fine arts it was just the perfect place for a spring themed ride! watching the action from the side was like witnessing a may pole party from the greek times...everyone dancing & riding in a big circle and just letting loose!, it was really awesome! plus the view and having it all lite up at night was just spectacular! ssoooooo awesome! it really was the perfect way for me to celebrate and ease me into the next chapter of my story :D

i hope you all had a great weekend and were able to spend time with your mommies! we had a nice bbq and i got to spend time with my little nephew too! familia is the best!

Well I am glad you had a great weekend! I hope you LOVE your new job! I know it's hard to start a new one. I am currently debating about if I want to quit my current one and start a new one. But, I do hate the process of learning everything at a new job!

  18. That looks like the most amazing ride/time. The photos remind me of the vibe on a summer night in Rome. Everything is lit up and the air is kind of buzzing. So fun!
