lets go oakland!

well happy monday to ya'll! hope you all had a fantastic weekend! the weekend started off to a great start...with only one more week left of work, it really brightened my day :)  yahoooooo! we wanted to celebrate me quitting and what better way to celebrate then with a little bit of baseball, one of my favorite sports!


we're a's fan and we live only 2 bart stops away from the oakland coliseum so it is perfect! i met the mister there after work were we drank a few beers before heading into the park.


bleacher seats are so cheap and really awesome too! it is never really crowded so there is always a great spot to plop. it was chilly and the mister had the great sense to grab a mexican blanket which was much much needed!



it was a great game and even better that the home team won! go a's!!!!




saturday we slept in and sadly the mister had to work which isn't his usual schedule but he had to switch days so that we could go on our bike ride sunday. we rode off that afternoon and parted ways. him going to work and me going to the library to pick up a book and then head on out to berkely to drop some owl earrings off at a store. the rest of my day was filled with sewing and then packing for our extremely early bike ride sunday morning! so far the weekend was pretty awesome.....can't wait to tell you about the ride!!!

    Baseball is my favorite sport too! I loove going to games! Season tickets would be a dream for me!

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to baseball games. My boyfriend and I are Braves fans, so I bought us Braves tickets to celebrate his graduation/our anniversary :) I can't wait! Looks like you guys had some pretty weather (despite the chill).

    @amber: thank i just bought those pants. but noticed that were my bum was sitting on the sit the color looked to have rubbed off..bummer! might have to dye them! hehe...oh yes we are very different sides of the ball game but glad to know you like baseball too!

    What a fun weekend! One of my absolute favorite things to do in the summer is go to baseball games (local minor league teams especially).

    what a great way to celebrate! I always want to go to a game when we're over there, but always seem to miss either the season (!) or any local games (one day perhaps), same with footy; but it looks like such fun.

    That baseball game looks like a lot of fun - I've never actually seen a baseball game as its not popular here in NZ. I meant to do it when I lived in Korea - but I never actually got there.
