call of the wild

last week i received two very exciting packages. both from two amazing etsy shops and i am a proud owner of both of these hand crafted pieces. i got so excited that i had to wear them the instant i received them. normally i savor my new items and wait for a special day to wear them but i just couldn't wait!

i really enjoyed how i paired my "call of the wild"(which isn't the real name of the shirt but i love calling it that!) shirt with one of my favorite cream pleated vintage finds. i got the tee shirt from the sweet shop tee shirt gnome. i had a hard time deciding on which one i wanted as there were so many i feel in love with but i think i choose well :)

the other gem was from printed peaks! i shared them on my citybirds chirp a while ago and have been a fan of lo's work since she started working on them. i want to wear it everyday and i love the way it sounds too.

my headbadge on my bike, kiki
ain't my black plastic bag on my seat purty? super getto but hey, i would hate to ruin my favorite skirt. the things i do for fashion and riding :) wouldn't have it any other way and hey, whatever works, right?

p.s.thanks so much for the wonderful comments on our camping trip, i feel really lucky to have a guy like tom. and it means much so to me to have a place to share our adventures and to be able to share it some amazing readers.

@kelley:a headbadge is kinda like a hood ornament for a car, the manufactures logo basically.

  15. Perfect bike riding outfit! I love that skirt, and Lo's necklaces are so pretty!

I never thought of putting a bag on my bike seat... I usually realise I should have put shorts under my skirt/dress when I am halfway down the road though, hehe.
