going solo

yay, its wednesday! which means it is my friday :D

i couldn't wait to wear my new dress so i wore it sunday to work & an appt. after. i paired it with red, grey & yellow accessories. such a fun summery dress just wish the weather would corporate more. but i can definitely where this with some colored tights!

after work i road out to the sunset district to my tattoo artist to go over my idea and get her opinion on placement as i wasn't sure where i wanted it was gonna work. i had the pleasure of riding through golden gate park, i love this ride. here are some things i spotted along the way....

a fleet of segways. yes, sf offers segway tours of golden gate park..we are fancy like that!

i was so excited to show sam, my tattoo artist, my drawing and she loved it! she is a HUGE bird lover and she just adores quails so she can't wait to get my all inked up and i can't either. i had to change my appt. to oct. 21st as my co-worker is going out of town for a week i made my appt. while she was gonna be gone. bummer but it is just 2 weeks from my original appt. so no biggie, it will make it all the sweeter :) it was so nice seeing her and she gave me a fresh loaf of bread when i left, which was soo awesome of her!

    That dress looks so sweet on you. Also - a fleet of segways AND bison. That is rad.

    Also - your tattoo artist gave you fresh bread? Now that's service;)

    YOU, your dress, your little red Toms, your yellow headband and earrings are all so stinkin' cute! I love your whole outfit and I'm kinda jealous because I wish it was mine. :) I'm so excited for you and your soon to be new tattoo!

    P.S. Happy Frinesday or Wedriday or whatever you want to call it. I kind of like Frinesday, has a nice ring to it. lol Also, I forgot to mention that I love your fingernails, super cute.

    i love your nails, and i'm seeing more and more nails with stripes, so since i don't have much to do today, i think i might try it out :)

    also, i can't wait to see your finished tattoo! i'm going to get a bird tattoo soon as well, but i'm just trying to decide between two ideas and where on my arm i want it.

    last, sf is my absolute favorite place on earth, so seeing that last picture may have just made me a little jealous ;)

    Hehehe, we have a lot of those segway fleets in DC where I work too! I always giggle when I see them. I bet it is fun, but it just looks funny because they are barely going faster than people walking but they are still wearing helmets :) I am so excited your tattoo appt went well! I know how excited you are about it, and it sucks that it will be a little bit later now, but it's going to be sooooo awesome!!!

    @amber: soooo random but so awesome! we were done and then she turned to me and was like "want to fresh bread" and how could i turn that down so i said "hell yea". it has been the most wonderful thing about my week!

    you look great!! funny segway story: I was once walking in Mt Dora, FL observing a tour of these and the whole time the leader on the walkie talkie was screaming at the participants about how wrong they were using the things and where to go and not go . . . on and on and on. The poor people just wanted to have fun and enjoy themselves. I am sure the guides aren't that way in SF, though : ) pet a bison for me xo
