happy little things #1

hey everyone!  hope you all had a great weekend, can't wait to read all about them so i can live vicariously through you all. i have to say that work hasn't been too bad and i just have two more days and then i am FREEEEEEEEEEE for 3 days! hehe

a new little feature that i want to throw in the mix when the mood strikes. a reminder to me really about the little things that make me happy, make me smile or giggle. plus it is a way for you all to get to know me a little better :)
a while back tom and i went on a walk after dinner. it was sooo nice and a great break from the regularly work night routine. he wanted to show me a front yard that had a crazy cactus yard and i LOVE a good cactus jungle, i mean who doesn't! little maintenance, barely need to water, a win win really. needless to say we never found that yard and we walked around for a good hour and a half. the journey was much more fun then finding the actual house and more proof to me that tom has absolutely NO sense of direction, poor guy.

a little reminder to all to literally stop and smell the roses. they smell damn good!

  6. those roses that you're smelling are absolutely gorgeous! as much as i love fall, the one thing i've always hated about it is the fact that my roses aren't blooming anymore, because they do smell damn good!

  7. i love the smell and taste of roses! candied rose petals, rose water turkish delight, rose tea, i even had a rose latte once and it's haunted my dreams ever since! <3

  8. true story: I killed a cactus. I thought those things were indestructible but apparently my poor gardening skills know no bounds. On a more positive note, thanks for the reminder to stop and smell roses. I need to do more of that.
