oh happy friday <3
today's happy little things is all about rosie, our four legged furbaby whom i love so much. i am a firm believer that cats secretly rule the world.....and well, lets face it, they do. since we got rosie 2 years ago all she has to do is meow and we do what she wants. the perfect life right? i think so.

she has so many faces, my favorite being the defiant one that she likes to show when she knows she is doing something we don't want her to do...that look says "oh, yea, make me", oh you silly rosie you.

like all pets she has many, many names and we have our own secret language as well which i can not disclose because, well, then it wouldn't be a secret language, sorry dudes. here is a short little list of her many names:
>>> rosie ( her real name is rosalita, which we rarely use)
>>> brains or brain brains
>>> pussy
>>> pussy-gato
>>> puuh-saaay
>>> gato or el gato
>>>> grato
>>>> pussy-grato
>>> pussy-roboto
>>> or just straight up, roboto, cause lets face, its funny

Aw, tortie! They're the best! My tortie is named Zoe, but sometimes we call her dodo bird. Nicknames are weird.

Deletehahaha!! Love this! I thought I was the only crazy cat lady that blogs about her kitty. LOL My cat rules my life...haha. He also has a billion little names. Originally he was supposed to be named Gizmo because he is orange and white and when he was little his ears were way too big for his head, so he looked like Gizmo from Gremlins. He follows me around everywhere I go so I kept calling him a little Momma's Boy.....so now his name is Momma's Boy. He also goes by Handsome, little fingy, kitty caterson, caterson McGee, etc.

DeleteOoh a tortoise shell, so pretty! I used to have one a long time ago and she had the sweetest little doll like face. Unrelated to cats, but we have the same duvet cover. Isn't it pretty? I made my sister go get it for me at Ikea because we didn't have one in Oregon at all at the time.

oh Cristie, she is so sweet!!! i love her coat colors and big bright eyes. does she ever have the teeniest paws though, such a delicate gal ; ) one of our cats, Gizmo, has tiny paws too and when she walks on us it somehow presses harder. not so great in the morning over your bladder, know what i mean ; )

what a sweetheart! I have been jonesing for a cat for a while. (Although I love my two dogs!) I have like a bazillion nonsense names for my dogs, too. I have no idea where they come from! Thanks for sharing these photos of Rosie!

what a pretty girl! i have a tortie too and i think they are extra rebelious. if scampi is sitting on something she KNOWS you don't want her to, when you try and push her off she becomes with blog that just molds to your hand and you can't push her. i hae seen that defiant face many times!
