a little hey

just to let you all know today was a good day :D....and to top it off i received a little package from kristen over at pommes frites.

back in july, kristen was having a give away of some of her awesome vintage map magnets that she sells on her etsy shop and the winner could pick 5 custom map magnets, sweet! after camping that weekend i came home to a wonderful email telling me i was the winner of this gracious gift! so i thought long and hard about what i wanted and here is what i came up with....yucatan-where my family is from,  hawaii-where the misters family is from, a map of the world, northen cali and a surpise magnet of a country that no longer exists....which kristen surprised me with zaire! which is now known as the democratic republic of congo...hope you can stick that little tidbit of info in your pocket to use at a later time...
