70's wonderfulness
the other day we went to the thrift store and as i was digging through the "supplies" area i found this really cute unused needlepoint design! i love textile wall art and thought this was one oh so cute! and the colors work great with our home decor!
i haven't done needle point since i was in grammer school but i am sure it will be easy although for such a small cute design there are a TON of directions! but what is really great they show you how to do all the needle work that the design calls out, thank goodness!
can't wait to show you the end product!!
hope you all have a great and wonderful weekend! going to the ashby bart flea market with the mister on saturday! can't wait to see what is in store for us!

Ooh can't wait to see how it turns out! I think I could get very into needlework... feeds into my OCD! ;)
ReplyDeletewow, great find (wish our charity shops had craft supplies). Hope you have a fantastic weekend, can't wait to hear about it, enjoy! x
ReplyDeletethat design is so cool, cant wait to see how it comes out. I actually went into my local craft store a few weeks ago to try and find a needle point design and all I could find were cats and horses and a few cheesy quotes. You scored with this one though!
ReplyDeleteoooh that will be so perfect! I love finding kits like that at thrift stores from forever ago. I'm excited to see how it turns out!
ReplyDeleteFun!! I love those colors and they are very fall-like.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I would love to get into doing some needlepointing..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can't wait to see it finished. I have been hunting for these and stitchery kits. It's pretty neat finding something so old and still in the package, untouched.
ReplyDeleteNice! this is gonna look so groovy!
