bike chick outfit

yayay it is wednesday and another bike chick outfit!!!! this is probably my most preppy outfit that i have worn in some time..i used to go to catholic school so once finally free of the white polo and plaid skirt, i haven't wanted to sport the preppy look for a while...but here i am..guess i can't shake it :D coming home from work and sporting one of my favorite shoes...my thrifted high top converse!!!!!!!!!!!




this outfit it pretty perfect to ride while biking. the jeans are skinny so need to worry about cuffing them on the right leg, the converse are a great sturdy shoe to ride in and the velvet black blazer keeps the breeze off and keeping me looking polished.


what are some of your favorite outfits to wear while riding?

i am hoping to get a good rainy gear wearing outfit in but haven't gotten caught in the rain yet! soon though very soon!

    Cute! Love your bike. My fav outfit at the moment always involves a stripy t'shirt. Most often navy and white.

    I like this kind of preppy-cool look, it's not stuffy-preppy which is good! ;) I like riding my bike in a dress, weird and kinda scandalous, but it's nice to not feel trapped by clothes when I'm pedaling! Plus I'm a bit of an exhibitionist... not really but oh well haha! ;)

    cute! no matter what, skirts with tights and a simple blazer or coat always does the trick. rain gear is currently being worked on too, think i almost got it down.

    love it! I too had many years wearing a uniform tho strangely it didn't put me off blazers :)
    your cycle outifts always look so cool, seriously, the cyclists I know could learn a thing or two (& so do I) :) xoxox

    Hi, thanks for reading my blog! If I lived in sunny California I would certainly ride my bike more, but I live in Bath, which is one of the hilliest and rainiest parts of England, so I'm a permanent pedestrian!

    Love the chucks, definitely stops the outfit being boring :)
