we're back!!!! part 1 of 2: disneyland!

EDITORS NOTE: THE AMAZING LISA EDITED OUT THE POWER SUIT WOMEN FOR ME!! I HAVE THE BEST BLOG BUDDIES!! MUAH LISA!

well, what a week! saturday our adventure began with the mister and i waking up super early to catch our plane to l.a. and then from the airport we went to our hotel and then went straight to disneyland, which was literally a hop and a skip away :D

the peak of the matterhorn
i hadn't been to disneyland since i was in eighth grade so it was nice to revisit! we headed straight to fantasy land which of course has the best ride EVER, peter pan! but alas the wait was over 60 min and that was just crazy! our little niece, who is only 2yrs old, is so tall that she can go on practically all the rides so for our first ride we went to....the matterhorn! maybe not the best first ride for a toddler but she was a super trooper and went on! she was a little freaked out but she is such an awesome little nugget that she recovered fast :D we decided to slow it down a bit so we then went on the tea cups...i sat with the boys and they cranked that tea cup till i thought we were gonna fly right off the track! thank god i didn't get sick!

here is a quick photo montage...enjoy!

the perfect tea cup ride picture! the two lovely ladies in the back ground our my mother in law and sister in law :D
its a small world!

next we went to a small world which was a must for the mister and i. we just LOVE mary blair's art so so much that it wouldn't have been the same if we didn't go on that classic disney ride! we went on a couple other rides and then called it a day. since all of us were up so early we were all pretty exhausted and waiting in lines is a lot more tiring then one would think!

we woke up early the next day and headed down to character breakfast where we met with mickey and just had to have a family photo, so cute!

and to my utter joy the mister and i were surprised by stitch! my favorite character! i was a little bummed because i would have LOVED to have shown him my impersonation of him...i do a mean stitch voice if i don't say so myself :D

we then ran over to disneyland and i mean ran because it started to rain! once again we headed over to fantasy land and low and behold the peter pan ride wait was only 20 min!!!!!!!! SCORE!! mission complete....the one ride i truly could not have left without riding and it was just as amazing as i remember and perfect in every way!

funny how disney can bring out the kid in you! thursday will be pictures of the cruise, yay!

  16. So fun! The Peter Pan ride is my favorite, too. It's the only ride I remember from our Disneyworld visit when I was five. Rode it with my Dad, and it's been my favorite ever since. :)
