I've been toying with the idea of trying rollerskating again, and those skates would definitely give me the boost I need to get going! So cool.
ReplyDeleteGladys looks like quite the ride. I have never ridden in a bug but if Gladys wants to stop on by she can pop my bug cherry.
ReplyDeletethat bike illustration is awesome! xxxx
ReplyDeleteHey, I didn't know you were a Queen fan! My sister and I were raised almost exclusively on Queen and to this day no-one else comes close. Do you know the story of when the Sex Pistols were in studio next door to Queen, and Sid Vicious said "Hello Fred, I see you're bringing ballet to the masses, then?" Freddie replied "Yes, Mr Ferocious, I do try my best." Legend :D
ReplyDeleteLove the bike print! Have a blast in NY!
ReplyDeleteyup! I love everything! that print is so amazing and so is queen. And my boyfriend rollerblades in a bigtime serious way. When we get engaged I would love a pair of rollerskates like the ones above and he can wear his for engagement photos. A little ahead of myself I think!
ReplyDeleteFab list honey!
ReplyDeleteLove the rollerskates - I too have that on my "to do" list, though sadly there isn't really anywhere decent to go round here - I've seen some very nice vintagey-looking skates on Amazon.co.uk and a company selling them on ebay too.
Can't wait to hear about NY xox
#1 awww I immediately looked for I left my heart in San Francisco on YouTube *nostalgic*
ReplyDelete#2 VW Beattle is my dream car (a red one with two white stripes)
#3 I don't really have a decent place to wear them, but those skates are really cool (like the 70s cool, man)
#4 I love bikes but pretty much same conditions as for skaters. You ride at your own risk lol
#5 Well slap me twice and call me Clarice! ♥ 'em!
#6 Ahh Freddie, I share the sentiment.
that bike illustration is adorable!
ReplyDeleteAdorable "bug" pics!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Love the photos and love your blog. :)

Aww these are all so fun. I did a lot of roller skating in Queens NYC with a ton of friends as a kid. There's an orange bug for sale in my neighborhood and I'd love to buy it...so cool you have one. Glad you had a great trip. I too am looking forward to cycling dates.
ReplyDeleteLove those blue bug pictures, and the moth necklaces! Thanks for stopping by my blog - and i didn't want to leave those curtains behind! I loved the fabric.
ReplyDeleteMy first car was a bug, but it wasn't as cool as that! It looks awesome in the pics with the Angel's Trumpets above it.
ReplyDelete& holy wow- those moth necklaces are amazingly adorable and YES FREDDY! What a talented dude, such a shame he's gone :(
very envious of your bug...trying to convince my dad that it is a good idea that he buy me one! lovely blog btw!
ReplyDeleteThat bike illustration has such a great aesthetic!
