light me up!

happy friday to all you cuties out there! the mister and i are headed up north to hang out with family and get a little bit of time with our super adorably cute niece whom i just want to squeeze every time i see her!

i just wanted to pop in and show you an exciting new find!!! remember my happy post last friday? and this amazing chandelier???



well, the mister and i were thrifting and i found this amazing lamp!!!!! we totally feel in love with it and it is the perfect edition to our reading lair!!! we are on the look out for a shade but that won't be hard....then after that all we need is a white sheep shag rug and the look will be complete!! oh and the mister found that cute wicker ottoman too ;D

 and just for fun we found mr. moosehead a new fez! doesn't he look so distinguished and with those glasses too! hehehe...he makes me giggle every time i walk into the room :D

    That lamp is so cute! We are using perfect mason jars like that one for flowers in at our wedding welcome party. Good luck finding a shade your home is coming along nicely! happy weekend

    @monique: oh man the mason jar filled with flowers is such a great touch! i can not wait to see your pictures of your amazing wedding!

    @alicia: haha well growing up i had too much of video games all over the house so when i grew up i still wanted them around but they are hidden :D hehehe

    @ trees: yes, the nz flag is AMAZING and super rad. the mister and i have extended family that live in kati kati and he stayed there with them helping out with the farm and their daughter who had retina cancer for about 3 months he was there! i soo want to visit them one day and see our niece!

    @amber: of course you can live in our house under mr.moosehead! i will prepare a little bed for you right now :D
