chickies!

today is my friday! giddy up! i have to get used to this new schedule, it feels kinda weird but i am totally down having friday be my new saturday!

i love making my little chickies, they make me so happy every time i paint them....i don't really know what it is really, they are so incredibly simple really, juvenile almost but i love them so!

 

i just made these for a friend who just had a little baby boy. i don't get to see her often anymore and that makes me sad...means i get to go to santa fe though which i don't mind! i loved it last time i visited and a camping trip there would be wicked cool!


anyways, i love making my paintings a bit more personal so i always love adding a babies name...i have done a bunch of these paintings for babies rooms and mamas' just love them <3

    I love these! So cute and with the personal touch is even more special. Also Bodhi is a really cool name!

    Creating illustrations make me happy and when people tell me they like them.. makes me even happier! :) x

    These are so sweet! I've been reading for a while, but I just realised today that your blog is such a mood-lifter: you're always so happy and positive, and it's always nice and bright and colourful round here!     fiiiinally finishing a knitted piece makes me happy, but that's probably because it takes me an eternity. :P

    those little birdies are wicked cute. When I paint I tend to always incorporate a tree even though I am not that great at making them look realistic
