for the 30 days of september i will be sewing everyday, whether it be for 30 mintures, 8 hours...whatever! i love sewing so much and i am always so happy when so and rarely do i feel that i ever get to make something for myself. i have so many things that i want to make for tom and i that i just couldn't squeeze in before so this month it will be all about me and my sewing machine. i am not sure yet how to document it but if you have suggestions i would love to hear them!
are you up for the challenge? i know i am! show your support of sew sepember and grab a button and lets do this!!
xo,

I will sew september!!!
x
Oh, I am so excited for this! I'll be adding the button and sharing a post linking back here sometime today!
ReplyDeleteAs far as how to document it, it could be fun to do a daily post about the project you worked on that day. Or, if you think posting about your projects daily is a bit much, you could pick one or two specific days to post about them. Also, you could add a link-up tool to each project post, so your readers who are also participating can share their projects beneath your post! Just an idea! I think it will be so much fun to document a month of sewing projects.
xo, Allie
I think I will do it! Just new to sewing but could di with motivation and inspiration:)

ReplyDeletepefercto! this is just what I need to get ma sewing groove back again.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I'm in (Thanks to Carla de leon for posting!) I really like the idea of having a linky - at least once a week, so we can share what we're working on. that way it gives us time to hopefully make progress on our project. I'm excited!!!
ReplyDeleteI am going to go for it! I just got a sewing machine, and since I am back in my Fibers courses, I will probably need to sew about every day!
ReplyDeleteI'm joining in too!, great idea :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun and awesome idea cb!! Need to start brainstorming...
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea - how's it going? I set myself a challenge this year to make one new thing a month, and even that i'm finding challenging. Work, life etc. all get in the way, but i'm on a mission to complete 12 things before the year is out! x
ReplyDeletep.s. have you entered my competition to win £50 of vintage-inspired jewellery yet? http://clazzerati.blogspot.com/2011/09/competition-time-chelsea-doll.html
what a great thing to do! Although I'm not sure I've sewn every day this month, I've certainly been doing more. I think I up the crafting come Autumn as it's dark so early possibly!? xox
