happy little things #6

hello and happy monday! i am on my way back from a girl's weekend up in lake tahoe. will share a bit of our weekend later this week.
it was brought to my attention (thanks emily!) that this month is national tea month! who would have thought. i am a HUGE tea drinker. i drink about 3 or 4 cups of it a day. growing up i had a friend who's mom was really big into tea and that is when my love of tea began. i love all sorts of tea and especially love a good glass of iced tea with lemon on a super hot day!

i switch up the brands every so often and have just recently gotten really into herbal tea. right now i am currently loving these. add a bit of honey and your golden. i also love green tea which is always a classic go to.
for christmas my cousin's gave me a little mix that smells heavenly and once i fix my tea diffuser, the chain broke :(, i can finally try it! i can't wait.

what is your favorite tea?

It taste like Christmas in a cup!! So yummy! I drink it year round seeing as Christmas isn't actually in the winter here...

The Vanilla one you have looks yum! :)

  3. Haha this post was made for me! I don't even drink coffee I am that much of a tea lover! My (French) husband teases me for being so typically English.

Every morning begins with a cup of Earl Grey with a little milk and no sugar. And pretty much every evening a mug of Pukka bedtime tea to help me wind down. In between it might be cinnamon, liquorice, green, raspberry - whatever!

I LOVE your owl caddy and vintage mug by the way!

  13. I do drink peppermint tea, but have to admit I don't really like it :). And for a woman who doesn't drink tea, I sure make a lot of it :D - Hubby LOVES his tea, has to be Yorkshire tea, milky, with one sugar - he says I make it better than anyone else, I think he just doesn't like to make his own, hee hee xox

  16. Honey vanilla chamomile is one of my favourite teas! It just has such a nice flavour. I can't drink chamomile while I'm pregnant so I am really missing it!

I also love strong jasmine green tea, and the occasional black tea with a tiny bit of milk.

Is the Honey Vanilla Tea as wonderful as it sounds? I've only tried a few of the Celestial Seasonings flavors, and so far my favorite is the Apple Cinnamon. :]

  20. yummmmmm tea! My favorite is Mighty Leaf's Orange Dulche. Luckily our Marshall's has it pretty often for only like $6! I usually put a little bit of cream in it and it's delightful :) I also had a great blueberry roibus(spell?) that a friend sent me from Africa this summer. Sadly, it's gone :(

  23. I tried Bombay Chai recently and it was so great. I definitely drink more coffee then tea but I'd like to change that.

  24. I don't know if you like cinnamon type tea, but Bengal Spice tea is good, especially when it is cold or rainy out. It has cinnamon, black pepper, and a hint of vanilla... there are some other flavors in there too. I have yet to put milk in it, but it might make a good chai drink. It's by Celestial Seasonings. I love it... maybe you will, too.

  25. I absolutely love sleepytime tea! It's my favorite, but I haven't tried a celestial that I haven't liked! :)

  26. I am a complete tea junkie. Actually I might need to seek out a 12 step program. My very favorite brand is Republic of Tea. Their apricot decaf is too die for, but I am recently obsessed with the wild blueberry black tea and passion fruit papaya. The only ones I don't love are the hibiscus teas.

If you are into tea I recently watched a really good documentary on Netflix about tea called All In This Tea.

Thanks for this post it gave me some new ideas.
