lately, i have been feeling the love, not just from tom but from blog friends and family. i am not sure what it is causing all this but it feels good. i have been the recipient of some wonderful valentine cards concealed with little surprises...

a mystery has also been solved. my cousin and best friend had been secretly sending me gifts that i have favorited on etsy. it was driving me crazy wondering who was being so thoughtful. i finally put two and two together when there was a little slip up.
i challenge all of you today even if you aren't big into the holiday like i am, to tell at least one person today how much you appreciate their friendship, love or how much you miss them either by note, email, text or tweet. it is as simple as that. and trust me, it is the smallest of things that continually leave a permeant smile on our faces.

ReplyDeletemy cousin is the best, i love her so much, no wonder she is my best friend <3 she is really really amazing, she is like my older sister which i always wanted and so happy i have one. she is actually my cousin in law so not my blood cousin, i would have loved to known her my entire life. yea i always tell tom everyday, well more then once a day how much i love him, i think it is super important.

that's so wonderful, to have a kindred spirit in your cousin, blood or no, in my experience it's often people you're not 'related to' that you can feel such a bond with. It's so special to find someone like that.

I really wanted to make a "big deal" about valentines this year - but I just arrived home from overseas. Next year it will be amazing though - it can be one of my 2013 goals:)
