what i wore: giddy up

well, hello everyone! how is your week treating you so far? today, my boss is back from her year in turkey and i am very excited to have her back. we didn't get to work together very much since right when i was hired she basically flew off and since then have skyped almost every day.
any who, today i am wearing one of my favorite dress. it is super plain but i love it for that reason. i got it thrifting a while ago but it's from target. 2 reason's why i love this dress: #1, the shilouette of this dress is reminscent of a 50's dress and #2 pockets! way to go target!

since the dress with the cardigan seemed so prim and proper i thought i would funk it up a bit by adding my favorite cowboy boots and not to forget my little army man bracelet! oh but can i just say the "c" necklace i have on, i have not taken off since i bought it. something about it i just love. maybe it is how delicate and simple it is...

details:
dress: thrifted but from target
cardigan: f21
socks: target
boots: thrifted
army man braclet: gift
c necklace: urban outfitters

  6. Pockets make everything better. I really like how you funked it up with the cowboy boots. You would fit in so well in Texas :) PS the post is called Leather cause apparently thats what the third year anniversary gift is supposed to be...very weird.

  7. giddyup, you can't go wrong with cowboy boots, ever. I think they make any outfit look like you are not trying to hard and also can kick/haul ass if need be.
