a sweet floral

hi everyone! i hope everyone had a nice weekend! i want to thank everyone who left such encouraging supportive comments on my last post. it really felt so good to get it out there. i am still i bit stressed but at least i feel better about. thank you everyone!!
so, onward and upwards! this weekend i finished my latest tattoo flash for a client. i am very very excited to finally be able to share with you! i started on the design mid april and had to stop because of my show and i needed to concentrate on getting some work done for that. i picked it back up mid may and it has been slow going ever since.
it has been really fun to work on this one because it was exactly what i love about designing. she had very specific flowers she was looking for calendulas, mums and larkspurs and i added some little ditsy flowers to fill in the rest. i was working around another exsisting tattoo making it a bit harder then normal but i am always up for a challenge! she is getting it on her back shoulder all the way to the front of her elbow.
i think it is gonna look so awesome and i can't wait to see the finished piece on her! right now i am working on some wedding invitations and then after that a cover up which i can't wait to start!

oh! just a heads up, starting august the pricing of my tattoo designs will be going up so if you want to get them at the price they are now, i can put you down in my calendar!

tom and i are waiting on a disposable camera from our weekend adventure, i can't wait to share!

  2. That is just lovely, Cristie. SO pretty. I've been wanting a floral piece next but I've been putting it off. Maybe I should try and decide just what exactly it is that I want.

    1. the profile ones were so much fun to draw, i always love drawing more 3d flowers rather then flat ones, makes the drawing more interesting!

  11. Cristie, your art here is gorgeous, really. It's going to look phenomenal on the shoulder and upper arm the way you described. Is it at all possible for the person who is going to be getting this tattoo to share it once it's on her skin?

It's such a perfect image. You go girl!
