what i wore: thrifting

i love a very basic outfit and adding a splash of color and a shade of funky orange lipstick. when i can wear my orange lipstick, i'm pretty happy. this is the outfit i wore thrifting last weekend. the weather was nice and warm. it was a perfect day to wear my favorite shorts and to adorn my new favorite clutch i bought thrifting a few weekends ago.
 i love this bag and i am not one to always go for clutches because they aren't as versatile as shoulder bags and i can't wear it while riding. but the moment i saw this bag, i just had to have it. it is so cute and it has a woven diamond pattern on it to boot! sweeeet!

    you look so cute! I love the pop of color from your shoes and that bag is adorbs. Plus your legs look wicked awesome in those short shorts. All in all this is a sublime outfit. :)

    very cute warm-weather thrifting outfit, love the splash of orange & turquoise too. And that bag is fantastic, I LOVE LOVE LOVE vintage bags, especially wicker ones like that (I have a white one that I simply love but am always looking out for a natural coloured one too) :) xox

      thanks ruth! i love having a good clutch, it is just nice to change things up. i have seen a couple at the thrift stores lately but i have to say no because i have no room!

    Very cute! I love the pops of color too- the orange lipstick looks awesome! I hear ya' clutches are so darn cute but I rarely choose them over a bag with a long strap.

    Such a cute casual outfit - I love the orange lipstick and that clutch is so cute! I usually don't got for clutches either, as I like to have my hands free, but this is very sweet with its wee handle.

      that is the reason why i don't like clutches either, i like being able to not feel confined or feel like i have to put the purse down to look at something. oh the things we do for beautiful things!
