the newest addition

hey everyone! hope you all had a great weekend. we had a great weekend, so nice to see family & friends. if you haven't seen scott pilgram vs. the world you should...pretty good :)

so with out further ado... i would like to introduce to you our newest addition....our adopted kitty rosalita!!!!...aka rosie or rose. we adopted her last wednesday at the local animal rescue shelter. she is a 4 month calico short hair tortie and we love her. we spent a good while at the shelter that day looking at all the kitties. the mister was keen on getting a tortie so we only choose that type to play with and get to know... but there were sooo many other kitties... it was so sad and i wanted them all...we played with 3 other torties and rosalita was the last one and we instantly new she was the was the one!  she was playful, she was totally interested in us, wanted to be petted and the one that sealed the deal was she was a purrer! 

she is a purring machine and such a cuddle bug! she likes to talk and has a funny little meow at times...early friday morning i thought she was saying hello but i also was half asleep :)

she follows us everywhere we go and she loves to sit in our laps and purr while we look at the computer. sunday i got her a toy mouse and she was going crazy over it...once she had successfully attacked it she would walk around the house with it in her mouth...she is a born hunter! mice and bugs beware! hehe

we are soo happy with our new little love bug...she is a perfect addition <3
