hello beautiful people! today i have another custom drawing for you. this was for my best friends sister. she sent me an image of a hummingbird she saw and wanted me to add some flowers around it. she is getting it on the inside of her bicep so i couldn't go too big. i ended up tweaking the hummingbird she sent me a bit so that it flowed a bit better.
she should be getting the tattoo soon and i hope her artist doesn't change too much of the design. one of the things i find hard right now is that since i am doing everything over the internet i can't proper measure people so when they do take my designs in to get tattooed there is going to be some tweaking and moving of things. most people understand that. when i start tattooing myself that won't be an issue anymore :) i have a few updates about that, which i will post about soon. i am so excited! i am improving each time which instead of being hard on myself i am encouraging myself and able to see the improvements rather then see the negative. i think as an artist that can be really hard. either way i am happy and keeping my chin up!

it's back!
hello! just a quick little post to let you know all that i am accepting tattoo designs again. i know that didn't last long, right? well, the reason is i cut down my hours at work so i now have a bit more time to fully focus on tattoos and designing. i am super excited for this new chapter in my life, however scary it may be.
this is the most recent one design i did. the client ended up not wanting the final inked piece, just an image. she really wanted a whimsical bird and the saying "she believed she could so she did". great quote, no? she also really loved an embroidery piece that her grandmother had made so i incorporated the little chain flowers because they were so cute and delicate. i think it turned out really cute. she will be getting it on her shoulder and has already made the appointment. i can't wait to see it!
happy wednesday and thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments in my last post!

cover up: a tattoo
hi everyone!
today i have another tattoo design to share with you. this one is a cover-up. this is my second cover-up design that i have done. cover-ups can be a bit tricky depending on the design and what the client wants. my client had a cross on her back shoulder that she wanted to get covered.
she was so awesome and super chill. she was really open to anything but really wanted flowers as long it covered her cross. since her tattoo was about 2 inches, i had to make sure whatever i designed was about that big.
she had a few constraints. she is a teacher so it couldn't spill over her shoulder onto her collar bone nor could it really go over her shoulder onto her arm so instead she wanted it to go further down her back. i had so much fun coming up with the flowers and then arranging them for her. and i think it turned out super awesome. i can't wait for her to get it done and to show you all. yay tattoo's!
>>> don't forget august 1st my pricing will be going up so snag up a slot now at the current price!<<<
