the crafty bike chic

i made my first cycling hat! i am so thrilled with the outcome and the mister was so impressed that he asked me to make him one too and of course i did :D for my hat i used some vintage trim to add some girlishness to it. i tweaked the design for the misters hat and i am very happy with the results that i am making more of his design with some old wool flannel that the mister found at the thrift store for me. it fits a bit better and added some elastic to give it more of a snug fit.

this pattern is so easy and so much fun to put together...like a little puzzle you can wear on your head! damn that was cheesy :p i am currently cutting out two more hats and will hope to have two finished ones this week
