i wanted to share with you some really unexpected pictures that we took with our little minolta hi-matic. the great thing about film is that you never quite know what your gonna get...hehe can't say that phrase and NOT think of forest gump.. often there are some wonderful surprises and double exposures is one of them! one day while waiting for bart i was trying to unload the film and having the worst time getting it out. while doing so i mistakenly re-wound some of the film so i just clicked away not really thinking much of it...finally i figured out what i was doing wrong and got the film to pop out...here is the result...
pretty cool...i love how part of my bike is overlapped with the tree making it look like a collage...on that same roll the mister had gone on a really awesome bike ride and i guess because i re-wound the film it messed up the rest of his pictures...but i wouldn't really call it messed up...these are some of my favorite pictures! the area where he went looks sooo fantastic...i really want to go on this same ride!
so the other day we were snapping some pictures and it was near the end of the roll so i told him to rewind the film and this is what we got!
i am really loving the double exposure...the images are so amazing and in a way very mysterious and creepy...and prove me wrong but you can't get this with a digital camera unless you use photoshop....i love film!
