birthday nails

after i wrote my it's okay post and realized that i had my nail polish on for 2 weeks,  i thought it was about time to change them. that week i received a very wonderful package with some nail decals from my wonderful friend over at lavender biscuit.

she gave me bird decals & succulent ones, both are so cute. so i tried my hand at then, super easy and instant cute nails! i think next time though i will paint my nails a color and then put the decal over them but i thought they were so cute and got tones of complements on the decals. (thanks ruth!)

does anyone else find it really hard to take pictures of their nails? they always look strange and make me laugh.
