feeling the love

lately, i have been feeling the love, not just from tom but from blog friends and family. i am not sure what it is causing all this but it feels good. i have been the recipient of some wonderful valentine cards concealed with little surprises...

a mystery has also been solved. my cousin and best friend had been secretly sending me gifts that i have favorited on etsy. it was driving me crazy wondering who was being so thoughtful. i finally put two and two together when there was a little slip up.

i challenge all of you today even if you aren't big into the holiday like i am, to tell at least one person today how much you appreciate their friendship, love or how much you miss them either by note, email, text or tweet. it is as simple as that. and trust me, it is the smallest of things that continually leave a permeant smile on our faces.

packages tied up with string...these are a few of my favorite things

yup...i love getting packages and who really doesn't! well i was the lucky winner over at so pauvre, who by the way is one of favorite blogs and i soooo wish we lived closer so we could hang out all the time...she is an absolute doll! my package arrived and so cute!

and then when i opened it..even cuter! the owl card now has a permanent place on my desk :D

and then oh my god, so cute! wish bones!! i think i will use one on my birthday!!!!

well not to long ago either, the sweetest lady at yesteryear revival was doing some spring cleaning and thought i would love this little owl...well she guessed right, i LOVE him and he makes the perfect addition to my owl room :D
