my first dress is done! i am so proud of myself. okay, so it is a prototype made out of a cute simple 70's(?) twin fitted sheet and i would never rock it but non the less i think i did a great job for my first time. i have plans to make it again with my vintage fabric i bought on etsy and make some tweaks to the design. i want to fix the collar so that it has more of a scoop or less choke like and bring in the shoulders a bit more and put an exposed zipper on it. i am so in love with my fabric, i can't wait to see how my creation pans out! my cousin and i are trying to start a sewing club...so far it is just the two of us but we are having a blast. have a great rest of your weekend! tomorrow is a fun bike ride to crissy field!
