the weekend is over????? what!?!?!

hope you all had a great weekend! since the mister was in las vegas i got to spend quality time with some of my favorite girls on friday and satruday! it was so nice. i feel like i don't get enough girl time and i am going to make it a habit! everyone needs girl or boy time!

saturday was great! i went to the sf bike expo at the cow palace and met up with tina from city girl rides. it was super awesome! made some really great contacts and saw some really great stuff that we want in our future bike shop!!! SQUEE!!! it was s.o. m.u.c.h f.u.n!!!!!!!!!! and it got me really pumped and excited for the stop. my plan this week is to finish our busness plan and get the loan thing rolling as it will take about 2 weeks! i'll keep you all up to date on everything. but for now here ware a few images of some stuff that i thought was pretty sweet!

want this seat! funny, the guy that makes them i went to school with...will be connecting with him to get him some orders :)
a bamboo bike!!!
i am going to buy this! oil cloth pannier, PERFECT for the winter!

when i got home i was exhausted so i took a shower and jumped into bed and stayed up soo late and finished the book, the host by stephanie meyer. if you are into fanasty and love stories then i would totally suggest this book to you. it is about peace loving aliens that take over the voilent human world...and you follow the life of one alien and her journey through the human world...don't want to give to much away :)   i  plowed through over 400 pages that night and i cried and laughed! one of the things i LOVE most about reading is creating the world i am reading about in my head and really becoming the character i am reading about. i think that is also why i love fantasty too. in my head i don't dream of carriages and bonnets, i dream about magical worlds where anything is possible. don't get me wrong i am a HUGE jane austen fan and love reading all types of books but my one true love is fantasy and mystery!

hope you all have a wonderful monday! will be back on wednesday with a bike chick tip!

  3. I am starting this book right after I finish Never Let Me Go. Have you ever read The Stolen Child? Its kinda of in the genre of sci fi, you might dig it

  4. Sounds like a pretty solid weekend! I'm liking that bamboo bike too; my dad's house is completely surrounded by bamboo, so I kinda have a soft spot for the stuff haha! My weekend mainly consisted of writing a Geologic Hazards report, not as much fun! ;)
