Hello all you fabulous City Bird's Nest readers! I'm Lisa from A Piece of Lisa, I'm so excited about guest blogging here! With the lovely theme of Happiness I thought it would be fun to make a list of a few of those every-day things that can really brighten up your day. Here's my list of Little Things That Make Me Happy!

1. Special Weekend Breakfast.
I love taking my time and making a really yummy breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday. My favorite is scrambled eggs, bacon and toast or blueberry pancakes!

2. New Tights.
I love buying new tights! It's much cheaper than buying a whole new outfit, but they can instantly transform your look. From romantic to rocky, quirky to crazy colorful, whatever your style, new tights are the quickest, cheapest and most fun way to update your wardrobe.

3. The First Flowers of The Year.
When the tulips start to appear in the shops it's a sure sign that spring is around the corner!

4. The Sun.
Anyone living in a country with cold winters know what I'm talking about! The feeling of the first rays of sun on your face after a long winter is almost indescribable!

5. Internet Shopping.
To receive something you've ordered online is like getting a present from yourself - and how lucky, it was just what you wanted! :)

I was over the moon when I got these cute rings in the mail, and I had almost forgotten I ordered them so it was also a fun surprise!
