what i wore: the first day of spring!

yay, its finally spring and the days are getting longer. during the winter nights i yearn for the days when the nights take forever to appear. i love the daylight and love the sun shining on my skin giving me sweet sweet kisses. with spring brings my birthday which always makes me smile. when my birthday is over it brings my favorite season of all...summer! perfect for camping, warm night bike rides and cooking outdoors.

 for now i will relish the soft sun spring brings, the sweet small flowers and the bright pink sunsets. its time to shake the dust out of our blankets and take picnic dates to the park and evening strolls around the neighborhood searching for the perfect front yard holding hands. to wear florals and perhaps be brave enough to not wear tights and let my legs finally breath.....a change is a comin'

    It's finally warm enough here in NC that I can go tights-less! And aren't Target cardigans the best? I <3 them.

      i have heard how warm it is! very jealous but soon the cold will be over and i will tight-less too! yes target cardigans are super cute! i had a hard time choosing a color!

      thanks amber! i have been running around the house tights free and it is so awesome but stepping outside the house i have to put on more clothes! sunny but nippy out if you know what i mean ;)

    This is such a lovely post with such cute, whimsical photos - you sure are one pretty lady. But it also makes me sad...because summer for you is autumn for me, followed closely by WINTER!!

      yea after looking at the pictures i was a bit sad you can't see it. it is from f21 and is like metal lace flowers, my favorite! everyone says it reminds them of my tattoos!

    ok, so I think after reading that I now love Spring even more :) it really is full of hope isn't it. Gorgeous photos & location too honey, & love the cardigan & dress. Our Spring is more like Summer right now, so warm & sunny, making the most of it whilst it's here :) xox
