a little mini shop shout out!

hey guys! i wanted to pop in and let you know that i updated the little ol' shop! i have made professional digital prints of my animal portraits!

they are printed on acid free heavy cardstock on 8.5"x11 paper. the printed image is approx 5 3/4" x 8"  and i have tons in stock ready to ship! get your favorite character today and once i have a bit more time i will get to more of my illustrations and get prints of those too!

shop update shout out and a sneak peak!

hi everyone! happy thursday. over the weekend i did a mini photo shoot of my most recent animal portraits. my cousin has a really nice camera and has a little set up his in garage so i took advantage of it. i think i did a good job as i know nothing really about taking pictures and lighting. it was fun picking out the items around our house for the shot.

my shop has been updated and here are the newest additions! let me introduce to you once again....

 mr. beaumont

a fickle creature mr. beaumont is and a bit of a hermit but he loves the company of his long time friends, a good glass of wine and a good book. he enjoys his solitude in the comfort of his house nestled in the forest of the redwoods. he thought it high time that he commission a portrait to show his true side, humble and sweet.

miss charollete

shy as a tulip but fast as a whip miss charollete embraces her femininity. she loves to spend summer days frolicking amongst the the high grass wearing her prettiest dresses. mother hates it when she comes home with grass stains and burrs in her fur.

mr. stumpleton

rhythm in his bones and a constant tapping of his feet mr. stumpleton plays a mean beat. born into rhythm in blues he knows how to sweep the ladies off their feet and make them wanna swing their hips. be careful, he has a way with words that will make you blush.


also i extended the sale on all clothing until the summer. get it while you still can!!

i have been working away like a crazy lady on my new collection and feeling really inspired and all around giddy about my new collection. i have been showing sneak peaks all week on twitter so some of you have seen other designs. i am working on a name for it as i am not happy with the one i keep calling. it will come, i know it will. oh and as you can see i am also doing come blog redesign too! i think i am a workaholic but loving life!

it is a bit different than my other treasures but i am happy to head in a different direction with my jewelry. any feed back you have for me is very much appreciated!! thanks tons!

 happy monday everyone! hope you all had a great weekend! the mister and i headed up to northern cali to met little bowie man and hang out with kelly-anne and family. it was really nice to see everyone, i just wish we could see them more often.

isn't his hat the cutest? his mama makes those! she is making tons for her shop so check it out!

little bowie man is such a cutie and just sleeps peacefully in our arms until he needs some milk! he was my little heater during the weekend as we sat cuddled together on the couch.

looks like i've dreads! so thats what i would look like..hmm interesting..

we caught up on true blood and had the mister dad's most delicious famous tacos! you just can't help eating so many which then turns you into a couch slug! hehe such a nice relaxing time with family....ahhh

 we woke up early saturday to head back to sf for my show... deep in the pit of my stomach i new how it would turn out. man let me tell you... it was like pulling teeth. extremely painful and dreadfully boring. not many people showed up which was what i was worried about...therefore, i did not have one sale... this made me a very sad little clam...very sad but i still have too keep telling myself that it wasn't my stuff, just no one showed up! i am really hard on myself and it is something i am still working on, nobody is perfect. i did however receive many compliments on my portraits and people took my cards so it wasn't for nothing just a waste of a beautiful saturday being stuck inside. oh well, you can't win them all <3

i have the best mister in the entire world! he is so good to me and made me feel so much better after the show... plus having food really helped, my favorite, pho! i was a total grump and he let me do my thing when i got home which i really needed. i sat and doodled and got totally motivated for my new line of jewelry i have been working on. i really can't wait to start making them and show you guys and get feed back. hopefully soon, i can show you :D oh and my new animal portraits will go up in my shop this coming weekend, so if you had your eye on one, you have your chance! hehe

all set and ready to go!

hi! well it is about that time...time for another craft fair! this saturday i have a craft fair that is part of the sfetsy team and i have to say i am a bit nervous. nervous because i am not sure how the turn out will be. i feel really good as far as inventory, lots of this to sell but you just never know how it will all turn out.

i finally finished up my animal portraits and i am so so happy how they turned out! i am not sure which one is my favorite but mr. beaumont & miss charlotte are pretty darn cute! i couldn't get to the koala as i needed to figure out a new outfit for her and didn't want to rush her so i will finish her up after the fair.

i still need to come up with their background stories but comes pretty easily and it is so much fun to do.

well we are heading up north to visit kelly-anne and their newest addition, little bowie man! i got him a really cute little onesie that says my aunt is awesome! i couldn't resist when i saw it :D

working it

yay it's my friday! the week always goes so fast, i love it! hope you all have something fun planned for this weekend! the mister and have a lot planned so we are gonna try to squeeze it all in, thrifting, a trip to the watering hole and fixing up white lighting, EEK!!!!!

today i wanted to share a couple of animal portraits that i am working on...

first up is mr. stumpleton...i changed the colors from my rough sketch as i thought they were a little harsh, so i softened them up a bit.... i just love how he came out!

this is the latest one...mr. beaumont! he was actually the first little sketch that i designed and i am just getting to painting him! he turned out super cute too and i just LOVE his grandpa elbow pads!

i figured once i am done with the other two i have planned i would do all the frames at once to make it easier on myself. i will show you more as i complete them! a bunny and a koala are next!! you can see the other ones in my shop here.

tonight is the swapaholics, i am so giddy with excitement! let me know if any of you will be there and please say hi!!
