going solo

yay, its wednesday! which means it is my friday :D

i couldn't wait to wear my new dress so i wore it sunday to work & an appt. after. i paired it with red, grey & yellow accessories. such a fun summery dress just wish the weather would corporate more. but i can definitely where this with some colored tights!

after work i road out to the sunset district to my tattoo artist to go over my idea and get her opinion on placement as i wasn't sure where i wanted it was gonna work. i had the pleasure of riding through golden gate park, i love this ride. here are some things i spotted along the way....

i was so excited to show sam, my tattoo artist, my drawing and she loved it! she is a HUGE bird lover and she just adores quails so she can't wait to get my all inked up and i can't either. i had to change my appt. to oct. 21st as my co-worker is going out of town for a week i made my appt. while she was gonna be gone. bummer but it is just 2 weeks from my original appt. so no biggie, it will make it all the sweeter :) it was so nice seeing her and she gave me a fresh loaf of bread when i left, which was soo awesome of her!

mini bike date

hi peaches and happy wednesday!

a week ago i had to work and tom and the day off so he met me in the city after work and we road our bikes to one of our favorite places for a pitcher of ice cold beer and the perfect grilled cheese! it was amazing! anyone who is in a relationship knows how important it is to have little dates here and there, it is important to be able to slow down and just be with the one you love. knowing we were going to have this mini date, i wanted to look cute so here is what i wore!

one of my favorite dresses from mexico that i got years ago and just recently hemmed it. nice red tights to keep my legs warm during the cold foggy sf night and my trusty toms and favorite jean jacket. after our date we headed home and waited for the train to come in to take us back to the east bay. a great night while wearing one of my favorite outfits and hanging out with the one i love most <3

hi everyone! thank you so much for your sweet and such supportive comments on my craft fair. i am so lucky to have such wonderful readers! i can't thank you enough :) each one of them made me smile, so thank you!

so in my last bike chic outfit i had mentioned how i am a bit in love with mint and yellow...well people it is official, i am obsessed with the color combo! i want to wear it all the time and i am getting the itch to paint and this color combo will be the first i try out!

i am also a bit obsessed with pleated skirts too. i got this black one a while back while hanging out with kelly-anne at one of my favorite thrift stores, actually now that i think about it i got the shirt there too! i just love how this skirt flows in the wind while i ride and i find myself watching the skirt more then the road ahead. so bad, especially in sf which is really bad., people have the nasty habit of jumping right off the curb and into the bike lane without looking. an awkward crash that would be!

 know the game fogger? well that is kinda how it can be riding in the city... fun but at times a bit scary. as you can see i also painted my nails yellow and mint colored and i had sworn never to paint my nails ever again as they chip instantly but i couldn't resist :D
