what i wore: walking to work!

hi! i hope everyone is getting lots of sunshine! we are getting tons and i am so grateful for the warmth. well, normally i ride my bike everyday but on cinco de mayo i walked! it is much different then riding, makes for a nice time to see all the little things i can't when i wiz by on my bike. it is so nice to change it up a bit. after work, tom and my cousins came and picked me up from work and headed to our friends restaurant which serves some of the best mexican food in sf.

the dress i am wearing i scored while thrifting this weekend. the sewing on it is a little wonky but the colors are perfect. the nice thing about sf is that it tends to be a bit cooler during the summer and since this dress is a wee bit on the short side, tights are necessary.

now, remember last week's outfit post and i wanted a faux leather jacket? well, i found one! i was soooo stocked! the thrifting gods answered my prayers! and on top it, it is a cropped one which i was hoping for. i am not a huge fan of target although, yes i do shop there but i felt a bit better buying it thrifted rather then new. on top of it being exactly what i wanted it also has a hoodie!! which is also detachable!! YES! way to go target!

what i wore: the first day of spring!

yay, its finally spring and the days are getting longer. during the winter nights i yearn for the days when the nights take forever to appear. i love the daylight and love the sun shining on my skin giving me sweet sweet kisses. with spring brings my birthday which always makes me smile. when my birthday is over it brings my favorite season of all...summer! perfect for camping, warm night bike rides and cooking outdoors.

 for now i will relish the soft sun spring brings, the sweet small flowers and the bright pink sunsets. its time to shake the dust out of our blankets and take picnic dates to the park and evening strolls around the neighborhood searching for the perfect front yard holding hands. to wear florals and perhaps be brave enough to not wear tights and let my legs finally breath.....a change is a comin'

what i wore: penny farthing

  hi peaches! hope everyone's week is grand! i can't complain it has been a good week.

 this last weekend tom and i went up to see my best friend who was in town and then stopped by kelly anne's house on friday. when i go there i was greeted with gifts!!! i mean who doesn't love that!! we had a really great night which you can see here.

above the gifts that i was given. a penny farthing red pleated skirt, WITH pockets and an owl purse! i feel so so loved! so cute right? both are from target. the shirt i bought a while back from h&m and then hand stamped it which you can see here. i am not crazy about the black cardigan i decided to throw on the last minute but this weather is really throwing me off, i mean it is BANANAS! no rain or snow where there is usually snow. mother nature what is up? don't get me wrong totally loving it but the times are a changin' and not sure if for the better....

anywho, when i was up with kelly-anne, we started dip dying my hair which you can see in the first picture. it was in for an hour and barely got it to where i wanted it and bleaching scares me so we took it out. eventually, i would like to have lavender tips but i am totally digging the bronzy color. it is fun and different and every body needs a little change once in a while.
